With over 10+ years in the fitness industry as both coach and athlete, Lisa started beSTRONG to give people the knowledge and confidence they need to excel in their fitness journey.

For me, it's not about being the strongest, the fastest or the fittest, I have always naturally been an active kid. It's always been about moving my body and chasing the thrill of something new. I have an urge to be good at all sports that I play! Through this, I've learnt that exercise can be fun and that health and movement are always a number one priority - you can't enjoy yourself if you're hurting.

I've been coaching and playing sports in tandem for as long as I can remember. My greatest moments are always when I see one of my clients achieving something they never thought possible. I feel incredibly lucky that I've been able to work with athletes at all levels - those on their first steps towards health and wellbeing and athletes competing at an international level.

Sarah Pedley

I have been involved with sports for 40 years. The sports I currently enjoy are strength training, trail running, mountain biking, open water swimming and triathlons. I love challenging myself, to see what I can accomplish physically and mentally.
I think this is why my favourite sport is endurance running.
It is a balance of both, and the reason I began strength training.
I realized that strength training would help me to be able to do all the sports I love longer in life. And it turns out that I love my time strength training too!
I have so many goals and bucket list races to train for. And along the way, I'd like to start working with and inspiring those who are new to running and those who want to learn more about blending the strength and endurance world together for health, fun, injury prevention and longevity.
If I’m not out with my little Dog, Rudy you will find me out and about with Hubby on the back of the motorbike. We love travelling around on it. The coolest trip was to Moab for our wedding anniversary a few years ago. We rented mountain bikes and rode the red rock. So sweet.
Best thing about exercise - is the confidence I have gained and the friends I have made.

I was 17 and really lost after high school, I was joining a gym and so nervous. Once I joined that gym and got into a regular fitness routine, a lot of things changed for me. I became more confident, I had more energy, and became more motivated in many aspects of my life.
I love that I get to be a part of other people's fitness journeys - as I know how intimidating starting one can be!

Carley Gottschalk

Like many, Carley grew up partaking in various recreational and competitive sports. With that, she has also had her fair share of injuries. As frustrating and lengthy recovery was, it really allowed her to take a step back to see how important it is to be moving our bodies and treat the movement we endure with gratitude.
Carley exercises for longevity, to be strong both mentally and physically but ultimately, because she LOVES it. There is nothing quite like a boost of endorphins to kickstart your day but also knowing she is putting herself in the best position to be healthy and happy for a very long time is incredible. She strives to push herself to be better every day, in all aspects of her life.
Carley hopes she can inspire and work alongside those who inspired her. Changing the narrative that exercise is something we HAVE to do into something we WANT to be doing for ourselves, as she believes it’s the highest level of self-respect.

Outdoor adventure and movement have always been at the heart of my life. From a young age, I’ve been driven by curiosity - always wondering what I’m capable of. I started out as a figure skater and later discovered a love for distance running in high school, which led me to race varsity cross country at university. Nowadays I’m an avid trail runner, always training for my next big physical and mental challenge.
I’m multi-passionate and I love to try new things. You can find me: snowboarding through tree runs, mountain biking flowy trails, hiking with friends, climbing granite slabs, making best friends on long trail runs, or skating freely across frozen lakes during the annual cold snap. These joyful pursuits keep me grounded, challenged, and connected. My goal is to continue doing all of them for the rest of my life, and that starts with a strong foundation. Strength training and mobility work not only help prevent injuries but also make me feel powerful and ready to chase after whatever’s next in all areas of my life.
I aim to help others discover that same freedom, confidence, and strength through movement so they can enjoy the activities they love for life and feel inspired to explore new ones. Strength training helps us not just move well but live well. I love connecting with others, sharing my passion and knowledge, and supporting people as they work toward their own goals. Let's turn “one day” into “day one”.

Sam Lockett

Movement has always been a big part of my life, starting with trying as many team sports as I could growing up. As opportunities for team sports lessened, I turned to the gym where a new passion was found in lifting heavy weights and learning how our bodies worked. This passion led to study, which led to a career in educating people on the importance of exercise and nutrition. I love to eat and always love talking about food.
For me, getting strong and fit lets me pursue things I love, such as mountain biking, kayaking, climbing, and snowboarding, while reducing my chance of injury. Being confident in my body’s ability to explore the outdoors comes from the confidence I build in the gym and with my degree teaching me the importance of moving and fueling well, I make it a focus for everyone to feel empowered moving their bodies all while having fun.
Outside of the gym you’ll find me curled up with a good book, having dinner with friends, or jumping into the nearest body of water - the colder the better!

Amanda Siebert

Fitness wasn’t always a big part of my life but making the decision to make it a priority as a young adult has proven to be the best choice I’ve ever made—one that equippedme with confidence, strength, resilience, and a strong desire to share my love of fitness with others. After spending 10 years as a health journalist, I made the switch to personal training in early 2024.
I found my passion for doing hard things through Brazilian jiu jitsu. I’ve been training and competing for five years and received my purple belt in August 2025. As it is a combat sport, I’ve had to face the odd injury, but I’ve come to view injuries as opportunities to learn more about what my body needs and how to train effectively without risking re-injury. Outside of jiu jitsu, I enjoy lifting, kettlebell flows, photography, spending time in nature, and dancing (I
have been known to throw epic solo living room dance parties, and may even bust the odd move in the middle of a workout).
I believe that fitness is an integral part of living a healthy, vibrant life, and that it is available to everyone. I like to remind clients that the most important part of training isn’t progress—it’s showing up and having fun. My approach is focused on sustainability, longevity, and confidence-building, and my goal is to help you find a routine you can build on for the rest of your life.
