Common Questions
Is beSTRONG only for women?
No. While all of our beSTRONG Coaches identify as women and we specialize in women’s health by working with clients through transitional periods like pregnancy and postpartum, our main goal is to create an inclusive space for anyone to come and feel confident in the gym. Yes. beSTRONG Training is a women's personal training studio. Our gym, programming, and coaching are designed specifically with women's bodies, health goals, and experiences in mind. Many clients tell us the environment is exactly what they were looking for: a professional, supportive space where they can focus on their wellness and feel amazing doing it.
Do I need experience to start personal training in Squamish?
Not at all. Many of our Squamish clients come to us having never lifted a weight before. Your personal trainer will assess your specific needs, listen to your goals, and build a program that meets you where you are. Then you progress from that point, week by week, at your own pace.
What makes beSTRONG different from other gyms in Squamish?
beSTRONG is not a drop-in gym. It is a coached training experience focused on your well-being and long-term progress. Every session is intentional, every program is personalized, and your trainer tracks your performance over time. You also get access to your workouts through our app, so you can stay on top of what is coming and contact us anytime.
Can I train with beSTRONG if I am pregnant or postpartum?
Our Squamish team has expertise in pre and postpartum coaching. We will work within your healthcare provider's guidance to keep you moving safely through pregnancy and support your recovery and return to strength after birth.
What is the best way to get started?
Book a free consultation with one of our Squamish personal trainers. We will talk about your health and fitness goals, show you around the studio, and figure out the best fit for you. No commitment required to have that first conversation. Just contact us, and we will take it from there.
Do you offer online or hybrid training options?
Yes. beSTRONG offers hybrid programs so you can train in the studio with your personal trainer and continue your workouts on your own between sessions. It is a popular choice for busy Squamish women who want expert guidance with built-in flexibility. With hybrid training in Squamish, you also have access to use the gym at open gym hours throughout the week.
