What is Prolapse?

Did you know that 1 in 2 people after pregnancy experience some degree of prolapse?

Prolapse occurs when the vaginal walls soften and the nearby organs sit inside the vagina.

Symptoms of prolapse will vary from person to person but the ultimate goal of rehab is to help you feel comfortable and able to move your body in all the ways that are important to you!

Jodie Pulsifer from Full Circle Physiotherapy explains this in more detail in the video below.

If you have questions or concerns - make sure to book in with the Full Circle Physiotherapy team for an assessment. They can help diagnose and guide you in the best possible way. Not sure what to expect from your first pelvic floor physiotherapist assessment? Watch this video from an earlier blog.
