About the event
beSTRONG and Run Uphill are collaborating to bring a 0-5km Run Club to Squamish.Â
Are you:
Someone who wants to join the Monday Shakeout run but not sure you can keep up?!
A beginner who wants to learn how to run and build some endurance and stamina?Â
Returning to running after time off/ injury/ having a baby etc?Â
Wanting to be social and meet other like minded people?Â
Then - this is probably for you!Â

Program Start: 8 April - June 17
What to expect:
- A FUN, welcoming environment for ANYONE who wants to build their base for running 5km consistently.
- A community - each Monday at 6:30pm we will meet for an hour - we will use the Monday Shake Out Facebook Group to communicate run locations in advance. Group workouts will include warmups/ run progressions/ coaching and cool downs.
- Access to a 10 week program - this includes 3x run days per week + 2x strength workouts. (Additional workouts are optional for you to complete)
- Perks from beSTRONG + Run Uphill + Others
- This is a time-based program to help you feeling comfortable building up the stamina to run for 25-40minutes! The beauty of this is that we can help stagger progressions based on the individual. Some may be running 5km in 6 weeks and others in 10 but that doesn't matter - we'll be here with you every step of the way.Â
- Coaching! We have helped many people return to running after injury, in their postpartum period or learn how to run for the first time (in a long time!)
Cost: $50 / person for the entire 10-week program
