With over 10+ years in the fitness industry as both coach and athlete, Lisa started beSTRONG to give people the knowledge and confidence they need to excel in their fitness journey.
For me, it's not about being the strongest, the fastest or the fittest, I have always naturally been an active kid. It's always been about moving my body and chasing the thrill of something new. I have an urge to be good at all sports that I play! Through this, I've learnt that exercise can be fun and that health and movement are always a number one priority - you can't enjoy yourself if you're hurting.
Want to get motivated and see results? Do something you love doing. It's that simple.
I've been coaching and playing sports in tandem for as long as I can remember. My greatest moments are always when I see one of my clients achieving something they never thought possible. I feel incredibly lucky that I've been able to work with athletes at all levels - those on their first steps towards health and wellbeing and athletes competing at an international level.

I have been involved with sports for 40 years. The sports I currently enjoy are strength training, trail running, mountain biking, open water swimming and triathlons. I love challenging myself, to see what I can accomplish physically and mentally.
I think this is why my favourite sport is endurance running.
It is a balance of both, and the reason I began strength training.
I realized that strength training would help me to be able to do all the sports I love longer in life. And it turns out that I love my time strength training too!
I have so many goals and bucket list races to train for. And along the way, I'd like to start working with and inspiring those who are new to running and those who want to learn more about blending the strength and endurance world together for health, fun, injury prevention and longevity.
If I’m not out with my little Dog, Rudy you will find me out and about with Hubby on the back of the motorbike. We love travelling around on it. The coolest trip was to Moab for our wedding anniversary a few years ago. We rented mountain bikes and rode the red rock. So sweet.
Best thing about exercise - is the confidence I have gained and the friends I have made.

Ever since my first job at age 15 I have loved coaching people and helping them achieve their goals. Fitness has played a huge role in my life and I have competed in martial arts, boxing and olympic weightlifting as well as running numerous half marathons. Whether I am training to compete or just to keep my body strong and healthy, movement has always played a huge role in my life.
I love seeing the physical transformations that fitness has brought my clients and what I love even more is the impact that fitness has on the rest of their lives. The confidence my clients create in themselves as they conquer physical feats they never thought possible has empowered them to take on big things in life.
I have also had my own health struggles which has led me to learn about women's health and now I get to help my clients at all stages of life, especially how to thrive in peri and post menopause. And fitness and nutrition are key to good health at any age.
